Kitten not interested in Catnip

My 7month old girl Ava is uninterested in catnip. I have the Kong natural catnip spray and I've sprayed it on her toy and she will smell it thrn squish up her nose like its unappealing and walk off. Is it because I opted for the spray? When i bring home fresh herbs for cooking like mint she always tries to stick her nose in but the capnip spray she reacts asthough the scent is an insult to her nostrils lol

Catnip doesn't please/attract every cat. Out of my 5 cats 4 of them like it. I also have friends with cats that simply just don't care for it. I would try getting them some kitty grass, or some nice grass from the organic store if you have one in town since you mentioned they do like mint.
