Upon researching milk replacer I was a bit horrified and it coincided with my bad experience with it. I have read of others' kittens getting sick on it or not thriving and want to share that I have had amazing luck with RAW goats milk. I add organic butter when the are a bit older to hold them over longer. Later vitamins with Taurine. I have had great luck with this and want to share the alternative to the dried go to that has sat on a shelf at the store for who knows how long. Farmers find many babies don't tolerate it. I found it comes out white. Unaltered by babies kidneys. Scary.
I get several gallons and freeze some. You usually have to get it right from the goat dairy for it to be really not processed, thus lacking many enzymes etc. but worth a trip to the country.
