Kitten has gone bonkers after spay surgery

The other cats no longer know what to make of it, either. The normally rational Lilac got a large chuck of aluminum foil from a plant (I use aluminum foil to keep them away from the soil... not working?!), picked it up with her teeth and runs from one room to another with it, rather frantically, and mewing to herself. If I try to take it away, she mews and pleads to get it back. I have no idea what she's trying to do! Help me get my Lilac back!

To me, honestly, it does not sound like this is the result of the spay. To me it sounds like you have a kitten, and she has found something new and shiny to play with! This is the joy of living with cats. Is she exhibiting any other strange behaviors? This all sounds perfectly normal to me
