We are going through this exact thing right now with our kitten. Negative on two separate fecal tests and has been on Albon- diarrhea went away- then it came back and now she’s on metronidazole. The diarrhea is gone but we’ve been down this road before. It’s been suggested that it’s stress since she’s quarantined from our other cat right now, but it has come and gone with no new stressors. We could do the pcr diarrhea panel but I’m not sure if it is worth it if the diseases tested for are rare.
