I brought home a bengal kitten about 3 weeks ago and she started having diarrhea a day or two after we brought her home. Some of her stools also have blood in them.
I took stool samples in to the vet for them to run tests and started her on a bland diet of boiled chicken and rice. The tests came back positive for corona virus and f.i.p so we had to bring in another stool sample to do more tests to find out the number count on those things. Those results came back with numbers that were not alarming and so we are back to the drawing board. The next step is to do biopsies, however she is too young.
Just over the last day or two her stools have become very mustard yellow and smell like vomit and just this morning I found blood in one again. I am getting to my wits end about this problem and I feel bad for my poor little kitten having to go through this.
It's been 3 weeks of vet visits and a lot of money and there are still no answers as to why she is having constant diarrhea.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
