I have a black 15 week old kitten and I got him at 8 weeks. I have a feeling he was taken away from his mum too early as he doesn't like to be alone. I live in a shared house so I keep him in my room but whenever I leave I can hear him meowing really loudly and when I come back I can hear him meowing. Does this mean he's been meowing the whole time?! He also tries to suckle on my face which is a bit weird, will he grow out of that? I'm aware that he's still a kitten but I'm just abit worried on what to do and I'm constantly worrying about if I'm doing things right as he's my first cat.

Kitten crying when I leave and inappropriate suckling?

It's possible he was separated too early but it's not certain could just be a comfort thing. Does he have something to cuddle with? When I got Vincent at 11 weeks old I bought him a "Kong Softie" and he cuddled it constantly. Even now he likes it though he doesn't care as much. So maybe try something like that.
