Kitten bites alot

I bought a Persian kitten a week ago. She's 12 weeks old.I love her more then anything. She quite loving and plahful . always there to lick my face. But when ever I pet her she grabs my hand and starts biting me then stops licks for a while then gets back to biting. I tried to tell her no but she won't stop. I don't know what to do ? In a week mg arms are full of cuts and scratches. Should I cut the sharp edges of her nails ? She always stays inside the house

Your kitten is just playing

She's still learning and testing her limits, just like a Human toddler. She will eventually learn to stop clawing and biting you. Clipping her nails will help. Direct her attention to a safe toy to play with. Never use your hands as toys. I know there are cats toys that are bascially gloves with dangly things attached to the fingers but it just encourages your cat to play with hands, IMO.
