Sann, the thread you are posting to is several years old.  If you are specific questions about kidney disease, you should probably start up your own thread and just start asking questions.  Many of us have kidney cats and will be glad to try to help you if you also have one.  The particular poster to whom you addressed your question is no longer posting on this site, however, I do know that one thing she did was feed her cats canned kidney diet (royal canin back in 2008) if that helps at all.
