FROM PETRA NEW BEGINNINGS RESCUE GEORGIA
Dahlia, the black and white American Short Hair and her son, Keith, the black and white American Short Hair.
Dahlia is about 2 years old and is the mother to Keith. They were dumped with 6 other kittens - I don't know what happened to them. Dahlia and Keith are very close. In fact, Keith is still feeding off of her and Dahlia is such a wonderful mom that she does not mind. They are so very calm and patiently sit in their tiny metal cage at Liberty County Animal Control. Dahlia is so elegant and a nurturing mom all at the same time. She takes her imprisonment in stride and I guess she is content because her baby is with her. Keith is also a very patient little boy. It seems his mom has taught him well and raised him to be a good little boy. Though it is obvious that he would like to play and he is very inquizitive. Many more cats have come in over the past week and tomorrow is cat euthanasia day. Dahlia and Keith have been there the longest, which means this is the END OF THE ROAD for both of them. If someone does not come forward today, these are their last 24 hours and it is KILING ME INSIDE. I cannot take Dahlia and Keith in. My male cat hates other cats and my house is full, but my stomach hurts knowing that they may end up in the LCAC freezer by this time tomorrow morning. PLEASE HELP these two wonderful babies, please, I am begging...
