Hi, I posted in Adventures of outdoor cats instead of here but this is copy
Don't know history but cat was either abandoned or feral kitten?
Friend of stepdaughter had been feeding him, something happened and Kat got adopted for a few months.
Anyway, he ended up here.
Few months later we saw him chasing/ 'playing' with something.
Turned out to be a 4~5ft black racer (snake) which he chased up to patio so wife and I could join in
We were not very calm about it....................................
Kat thought it was hilarious
He's done a lot of funny/strange things in the last 18months but, as they say, that's another story
He's also had a young racoon follow him home and was real surprised when I wouldn't feed it (I think he was 'playing' with it and 'invited' it?
)
He dug up a mole to play with but lost interest pretty quick so let it go
Stepdaughter says she saw him 'herding' a line of baby ducks over by the pond last autumn, didn't hurt any of them.
He can be pretty weird but he keeps me amused
