This isn't a problem - just curious. Years ago we had a Persian with long, soft, flowing hair that would actually blow in the wind. My current 5 year old long-hair calico, Max, has very thick long hair that, while soft to the touch, sticks out all over the place. Though getting combed and brushed once or twice a day, five minutes later she looks like she's having a bad hair day. Is this common in domestic long-hair? Makes me wonder what breeds might be in the mix.
