How many of you live in another country and don't celebrate Thanksgiving?
Nah, no Thanksgiving here!Originally Posted by sarahp

We'll be on a flight to Australia for Thanksgiving - leave on the 22nd, arrive on the 24th so will miss it altogether
Yes, but in France, isn't the arrival of Beaujolais nouveau a big thing???Originally Posted by jennyranson
No Thanksgiving as such in the UK or France, or Bosnia, though when I was somewhere where there were lots of Americans I was often invited to celebrate with them. And even in London, I sometimes organised a Thanksgiving dinner just to have something to celebrate in the dark days of November. But then I had parties for the opening of the mussel season, the arrival of Beaujolais nouveau, Hanukah, Christmas (Catholic and Orthodox), New Year, Twelfth Night, end of Ramadan, Spring Solstice, you name it!
