{{{{Healing Vibes}}}}}} to your cousin!
Me too, he was training for cross country just recently - he had made the Varsity team this year - and now he's out of that.Originally Posted by Phenomsmom
Poor Kiddo! I hate to hear of things like that happening to young kids with their whole lives ahead of them!

How's your cousin doing Mackenzie?
It's really good that he got to see his friends, but I feel so bad for him that he can't participate in anything with them...He will be out of commission for a while eh?Originally Posted by babyharley

I went over there right away on Friday when I got home - and he was sitting in his wheelchair, looking so depressed, as it was about 80* outside and he really wanted to go outside and play with his friends
My aunt took him off the pain meds, and put him on the muscle relaxors - and his attitude is a lot better - it was almost like those pain meds were depressants - I felt so horrible for him!
They did walk him down to the High School on Saturday night (they live 5 blocks away) so he could watch the kids walk thru Grand March for Prom - so at least he got to get out and see his friends for awhile, that really helped his attitude a lot!
Thanks so much for asking, that means a lot!
Yup.... he goes back to the DR in 2 weeks, so hopefully he will be able to get out a bit more in the wheelchair, but for now, he can only be on the couch or in his wheelchair so it heals properly.Originally Posted by Trouts mom

Poor guy, that's awful...15 is the age of being super active too! Hopefully everything will heal as quick and painless as possible.Originally Posted by babyharley
