July 6, 2010 marks the day I had my surgery for cancer. The surgery was a success and the pathology showed the cancer was contained.
It should be a happy day for me, but I find myself grieving. Not only because I now have a history of cancer in my life, and I still find it hard to deal with at times, but also because on July 3, 2010, I made the awful decision to euthanize my beautiful 18 year old girl, Chynna because her health was declining and I wanted her to go while she still had kitty dignity.
