Interesting read :) Conclusion is that many cats are just difficult to medicate and cat owners should look into compounding medicine into a hopefully more easier form or be educated by the vet about products like Pill Pockets. The study also showed that many vets do not tell clients exactly how to give the medicine, how often, for how long, give with food or without, etc and clients are reluctant to ask the vet for that information.

That is an interesting read! But, when you get right down to it, experimenting with compounding meds is a complicated matter, and can take prescription re-write after re-write to get one that may work (trust me, I personally know). No one, understandably so, can take on the effort and expense involved to find one that works for any individual cat, short of the per owner themselves. A lot of what may or may not work with any particular cat, unfortunately, is left to the pet owner to determine with experimentation. And, in most cases, that becomes a series of testing of all sorts of mediums.
