Musiaka suddenly developed jaundice and cholangitis and was hospitalized for 24h to get iv drops. We did two ultrasounds, a full panel of blood tests but no biopsy. His ALT and Bilirubin are very high. He has no fever and the general blood tests were ok. His gallbladder stones have dissolved after 6 months of religiously giving him Ursodiol and the gallbladder itself is small but the ducts looked swollen. Nothing points to an obstruction. Took him home yesterday with two types of antibiotics and a liver supplement, he´s also on Prednisolone. When we got back home he looked much more lively and even had an appetite, but now he´s back to refusing food. Should I force feed him? Is it ok to just give him any food that can entice him or should I avoid that due to unsuitable ingredients? Is this something he can recover from?

I am sorry no one has responded to your post yet. I suspect it is likely due to the hesitation to advise you inappropriately given the unknowns.

Can you contact the vet/IM vet and ask about specific foods that would be best to try? You might also ask about ongoing sub-Q (or IV) fluids. And pain meds.

Hi! Feebysowner beat me to it :) and I agree.

Just out of curiosity is the liver supplement Milk Thistle/silymarin? My angel poppycat couldn't handle the Denamarin even though the SAMe would probably have been better for him to take.

Anyway, after you have a chance to check with your vet, there might be something here that helps;

this is from todaysveterinarynurse .com ;
making sure all water bowls are cleaned daily may encourage water consumption. Circulating water fountains can be provided for cats that like to drink running or dripping water, and multiple water bowls should be offered throughout the home. Also, the size and depth of water bowls may need to be considered, and different types of water (e.g., distilled, warm, cold) may need to be tried.
