Ferris, the chocolates dominate; but in the past season or so, there are more "other colors" granding, with several dilutes (lavendar, fawns). In most shows there is only a handful of Ocis and usually its not in the same class - you might get one in kitten, one in championship, one in alter (that's a good show).

I think some of the breeders are starting to put more non-chocolates out now so the judges can see there are other colors and the quality.

Silvers (not sure if Mau's have same problem) are still hard to show as the coats are slightly longer then the other colors and the standard is for a short tight coat. This is due to the longer coat of the ASH that was introduced. That's why only abys are allowable outcrosses for the next few years; ASH's ruin the tight coat.
