I am using Simple Solution Cat Stain & Odor Remover from Petco.
He has not re-marked any spots that I used this cleaner on.
He is finally starting to calm down since Mom came home.
He still won't come downstairs but we haven't smelled anything and neither has Spunky.
I was thinking about you last night actually. It's hard to be patient and to think there is light at the end when you are going through it. I was totally upset and annoyed. Mom was talking of(not going to though) putting Connor to sleep. I know she wouldn't but it just showed how annoyed she was.
I hope you find a resolution. I know another member is having the same problem and their cat is on Buspar.
