Two whole weeks since Genever last puked! That is a record since I started keeping track last summer!
She last puked after eating some wet food on Friday night, 9/10.
She started taking Prednisolone last week on Wednesday, 9/15, as I posted about in this thread. A few days ago I switched from giving her the pill in the morning to giving it at night. Her appetite seems about the same, but I am noticing she's peeing more. Her behavior is pretty normal, but Mon-Wed(yesterday) she wasn't quite herself, I think she had some bad allergies. So did I. We were both sneezing like crazy and probably a bit knocked out from allergy meds. But she's pretty much back to normal today. And still no puking! I just cannot believe it!
Someone pinch me- is it a dream? Is it really this simple?
Now I still have 6 days before starting to taper her dose, but it really seems like this might be the magic bullet we've been looking for. I will call the vet in a few weeks and report back to her our results and proceed from there. Wish us luck with continued pukelessness!
