Lynne and Jack together.

Esme, looking very stern and very, well, pissed off of the only way to describe her right now. It's been two months but she still will not allow any touching from the kitten, growls and screams when the kitten bats at her.

Lynne first tried to make friends with Esme by trying to play with her. Esme hit her/popped her while growling and hollering bloody murdet. Now Lynne knows that Esme hates her and she had started to provoke her. It's a battle over dominance I think and also over "who does mommy love the most?"

I don't n't know what to do. Does anyone have any ideas how to get them to be friends or at least be civil to each other?

Have you tried positive association techniques, like playing with them together, or giving them treats or food near each other?  Here's an article that may give you some ideas on introduction techniques.
