The vet where i used to live said Rosie and Sophie were overweight. She said they should weigh 8lb, when Rosie was just over 10lb and Sophie 11lb.

That's like Scratch. Before she was spayed she was a small girl, but after her spay she looks a lot larger than what she was. Her spay sway is quite big and is not as active as she was, although Squee and her run around quite a bit. Squee is tiny but she's not skinny so I'd say she's ideal.Originally Posted by twstychik
Frankie is between ideal and slightly overweight. She weighs in at a little over 12 lbs. but the vet has never said it was a problem and part of her chubby appearance is that lovely spay sway.

My girls are all ideal weight. Lily is a little under 9lbs and all long limbs. Smudge is also a little under 9lbs and is solid looking, but mostly fur. Stumpy is about 8lbs and a petite girl.
