Is this spay incision infected?

Hi all!

I recently adopted a kitten and she was spayed two weeks ago. As of today, I noticed her incision was pretty red (see photo). At first it wasn't oozing and it felt like a scab when touched. Now it seems to be a little more irritated. Please share your thoughts as I was to give her the proper care - thank you!

Hi. I would get that checked by a vet. What is concerning is the appearance of fresh (red) blood on a 2 week old surgical site. You can tell by the hair growth that it’s been at least 2 weeks.

Yes, I mentioned that she was spayed two weeks ago. Thank you for your advice!

I have to agree with S silent meowlook she should definitely be seen by the vet. The red blood there is bothersome especially being 2 weeks post op.

Update: Vet took a look and said it is healed. It has scabbed over since the photos and didn't seem to be a concern
