Is this Snoozing Normal?

My cat is a senior who just got a very good check-up report from the vet today as far as her ckd is concerned.
BUT..she sleeps like nobody's business!
Today she slept from 9 am and is still out there snoozing away. She woke up twice for food and then went right back.
Is 9 hours plus common for senior cats?

From what I’ve read, 20 hours is quite normal for senior cats.

I was concerned. She has been with me now for a year from the shelter and never slept so much until this summer. But I see that the older the senior, the more they sleep.
We play 'catch the mouse' in the evening and I can see that after a few minutes of scurrying and leaping she tires sooner. I guess I feel the same now as I age..LOL
