Where do you think?
I've noticed pretty much since I first got her Indy seems to have unusualy sensitive anal glands. Even just scratching her elevator bum sometimes is enough to make her spray a disgusting liquid from her anal glands. I'm positive its from the anal glands because it comes from two tiny dents on either side of her butthole.

Scratching her lower belly almost guarentees she will spray from her glands.

She is always purring and air/floor massaging when it happens too.

Is she just easily excited or just weird?

First, is she spayed? If not, she may be 'spraying' to mark her territiry, including you. Usually unspayed females will do this.Spaying would help with this. Maybe, being completely relaxed and then stimulated by your petting or being around may tighten the anal sac muscles and cause her to spray. It is NOT normal, but may be for her. Have the vet check her anal glands the next time she is in to see if there may be an infection or they are overly full. she may need an antibiotic. the liquid is used to coat the feces as it is passed outside the body. There are supplements on Amazon, and pet med sites that may help, made just for anal gland problems. She may need more fiber in her diet to help empty the glands. Cats in the wild eat bones, fur. etc. to bulk up their diet. Add a teaspoon of oure pumpkin puree to her diet (NO spices) and see if that helps, or some other form of fiber. You might research fiber products on the internet for cats, and probiotics. It may help! All the luck!

Indy is spayed. This is by no means a new thing for her. It is not pee but a white liquid that smells horrible. Deffenatly anal gland secretion not pee.

Her poo is firm and cigar shapped always has been.

This is not new at all for her and has happened since she was a kitten.

It seems to happen when she is really happy or excited. Which for indy is anytime someone so much as looks her way.

It can be a sign that she needs her anal glands expressed. It can just be genetic for some.
