One of our cats...Casper, we always thought was a DSH. He was a rescue kitten. I saw a show on AP tonight on the Khao Manee cat. Although Casper has the same color eyes, all the rest of the details are about right. So, what's the opinion?
. I hope someone who knows more about the breed can tell you more. However, I know that lots of cat just look and act like certain breeds because of their fur color/individual body type/individual personality. From what I read, the different colored eyes and all-white fur color along with being skinny and lithe are the main distinguishing characteristics of the Khao Manee, right? There are tons of cats that fit that description. Many cat breeds look so similar, it really is impossible to tell what they are without papers. That's why you can say with certainty that you own German Shepherds, but you can't say with any certainty that you own a particular breed of cat, especially if he doesn't exhibit the main sign of having different colored eyes.
this probably isnt relevent to your situation anymore but i havent seen a proper yes or no answer to your question (probably just didnt see it though) so i thought i would give you one...or at least my best.
with the pictures you posted i would say probably because the fur and eye color looked right but to tell for sure if a cat is a khao manee you need a closer look at the eyes
khao manee cats have either blue, gold, or off colored eyes most commonly blue with blue, yellow, and green but what really gives it away is the fact that they have a bright pattern around the eyes resembling a "diamond cut" hence the name khao manee or "diamond eye"
