I'm used to sleeping with my ceiling fan on...it's set on high. Is this air bad for my kitty? Will she catch a cold or get sick? It gets hot back here without it, at least for me!
People and other mammals, that includes cats, don't get sick from the cold, they get sick from bacteria or viruses. If anything the fan promotes proper ventilation, which is good for all of us.So as long as your cat doesn't have a REALLY long tailOriginally Posted by SSmith0385

Have you trimmed the collar down?. I had to with Rosie and Sophies because it was huge but i only took a little off because they shouldn't be able to touch the stitches.Originally Posted by SSmith0385
Maybe a little? I see her licking the staples (yes she does, I dont know how with the ecollar, but she does) but haven't seen her bite them. She is calm now but I'm afraid she's gonna get revved up before bed and then my blood pressure goes through the roof, because I'm trying to sleep
No need to trim hers, it wasn't long enough to begin with because she still got one staple out. Then today she actually BROKE the ecollar, and it's irreparable. We worked out an ace bandage type situation which seems to be working OK. Cross your fingers we make it to saturday with no infection and that she'll be all healed up!Originally Posted by rosiemac
