Looks like a male to me. The testicles should descend later.

Sorry, just noticed his age. The testicles might descend later, or he could be cryptorchid. Hopefully they descend because it's a much easier neuter when you know where they are.

I agree with Wile Wile , this looks like a male. Who told you it was a male? Has he been to the vet? They would know for certain, especially at 8 weeks.

WOAH! When I opened this, something glitched, and the first photo was full screen! BIG KITTEN FANNY! I think we're dealing with a male, also. Either he's a little younger than you were told, or if you know for sure his age, he may well be cryptorchid. Now, that said, I've known a few "late bloomers" in my time.

This is a better photo i think?

The genitals are far from the anus and it looks like a dot to me:dunno: . I don’t see the testicles and i tried to feel the area and it feels like there’s no testicles that’s why i feel that it’s a female

And i’m not sure about the age but i don’t think it’s younger than 7 weeks.

If it’s a male i really hope he’s not cryptorchid. I’m really worried. :frown::frown:

Take the kitten to the vet for a check up. It's time for deworming and first vaccines anyway. They can tell you for sure!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he's male. At 8 weeks I wouldn't count him as cryptorchid yet, but you really should be able to see them starting to drop, at least. If they haven't dropped by 12 weeks they probably aren't going to :/.

A cryptorchid neuter isn't the worst thing in the world but let's hope they make an appearance!

He looks male to me. My boy's testicles didn't drop until closer to the 12-week mark. Before that, he and his sister looked super similar down there!

That's almost certainly a little boy. Yep, don't fret too much until the 12 week mark. He's young yet. And cryptorchid is far from the worst thing in the world! Not much more than a spay for a female.
