Is my cats gums normal?

Are their gums meant to dip down like that when they lick?

From what I can see that’s just her lip — it’s the place where the top canines rest when their mouth is closed :) Here’s chips and his impressive gnashers. It looks ucomfortable, but there’s no redness on his lip or anysign of injury, as it’s intended to work this way. Especially with cats that have large canines.
