My cat was hyper and playful, loved to look at out the window and chase things. At 5 years of age began having seizures. He is on three different meds to stop the seizures, which he would pretty much have daily without them. Being on the medicine he has become sedate. He doesn't care to look out the window (though I did move from the burbs to the city. The view is a bit different) and will only play with a toy once in a while for just a minute or two.
He sleeps and when awake will pace the apartment. While he was never a "people person", he will let me pet him, he in particular likes to rub his head against something (door frame, corner of something) while I pet him and his tail will go up. He will also purr. His tail will raise.
I don't know if he feels relaxed and sedated or if he is uncomfortable and sad. Any advice on how to tell if he is feeling ok or how I can make him as happy as possible?
