Is my 6 Month Old Kitten' teeth too large for his mouth?

My kitten Aki is 6 months old now and almost 7 months, His adult teeth came in but they seem way to big. It looks hard for him to open and close his mouth, Whenever he eats it takes him 15 minutes to get his mouth to properly close. He is a pretty small cat, but his teeth are huge and stick out a little. His bottom teeth I think are too big as well, the inside of his mouth was a little torn from the bottom fangs, I'm worried for him and am scheduling an appt. I just need a little help here. I can post pics because my memory is not letting me.

You have done the right thing by making an appointment for him.  Only a vet can give you an answer here.  Let us know how this turns out.  I have never heard of this condition before.
