Is it safe to use expired anti flea shampoo on an adult cat?

I got the shampoo a few years ago, and its expired now. Should i just get a new one?

I would get a new one. Old shampoos can grow bacteria etc.

Yes get a new one. There's no way to know if when it expires it looses effectiveness or becomes too strong. Either way, it won't have the intended effect.

Good plan I'm a pet groomer and we don't use old shampoos for fear of bacterial contamination. If you use the shampoo diluted at any time, try to make sure to dilute only what you need and leave the rest concentrated. Hopefully your cat feels better now!
