Just so everyone knows, this is a very old thread, but, it is always good to remind people about the symptoms and prognosis for FIP. Sadly things have not changed much yet - there are still no proven cases of recovery from either form of FIP. The difficulty is still in diagnosing it and not giving up till everyone is sure that the cat is actually suffering from FIP.
