Some guests bought a gladiolus bouquet tonight. I read that it is toxic to cats. My cats haven't gotten any where near to the plant yet but I'm still worried. I also know for a fact, that they won't ingest it as my cats are smart. I've hidden them in the dinning room where my cats aren't allowed. I only want to ask, are they also poisonous if they sniff it?

Hi
I believe direct contact or ingestion needs to occur, but you're right, some plants have dusty-ish pollen (regarding sniffing), so it's likely best to do as you are and keep them away :)
