hello-
adopted a 2nd cat about 6 wks ago, did the usual introduction things (isolated new cat, switched scents by towels, opened door a crack to let them see each other, etc)
then yesterday tried the baby gate in the doorway and new cat ran under the bed.
now she runs and hides every time the door opens, gate or not.
if she can't tolerate a gate, how will she ever tolerate the other cat?
any suggestions?
