I was not really sure if this was behavior or a general cat question. I'm placing this here since it has to do with my 8 week old kitten fosters.
I have a 9 month old "kitten" who is almost 12 lbs. He's a huge kitten. He desperately wants to play with them. I've allowed contact through the gate. They mostly swat at each other.
I'd like to introduce him to them to socialize everyone together. At this point, my kitten has been playing with the dog for months and I think the socialization would be great for him too. I'm just worried he's too rough with them. One got over the gate the other day, and he's a neck bitter and swats them off their tiny feet. There was so much hissing.
Any tips? Advice on how to get establish boundaries and gentle play?
