I have a 2 year old, very shy but sweet 2 year old cat named Mikey. He is extremely timid, but very loving. He isn't shy with me, just other people. In general, everything scares him. I took in 2 kittens rescued from under a deck. The kittens are now maybe 13 weeks old. My biggest concern was Mikey. His happiness is very important to me
I thought that he would not receive these kittens very well. I have had the kittens just over 2 weeks, and I'm amazed at how well it is going! Initially, the kittens hissed at him. I am keeping them in a spare bedroom and every day, I would allow them to interact for a short time. It's only been 2 weeks and they are best friends all of the sudden! No more hissing. Mikey is infatuated with the kittens! They spent the whole day playing. I've never seen mikey so happy. I am shocked at how well things are going. I will post pictures. I hope to God it stays this way!
