I've been hearing for a while that raw foods are much better for them, and it only is common sense that it would be since they're carnivores. I've done a little research but would like to know what some of you on here are feeding, like if there are certain parts of certain animals your cats prefer and how big the portions should be. Also if you just go to your local grocery store and buy from the meat counter or actually hunt down a butcher (I don't think i've seen any where I am).
My SO is worried about the cost, but I think it'd be worth it, and there's always the option of buying meat on sale or also partially feeding kibbles still. All my cats have been on kibbles their whole lives and i haven't had any serious medical issues that were food related. Their coats are shiny and their teeth are all good, as are their poops and breath, but I'd like them to be on a more natural diet.
