My kitten has what appears to be a scratch on the inner side of his eye. It could have happened while playing with my other cat. It’s small but since it’s so close to his eye it concerns me. Looks like he has dry blood there. I don’t want to mess with it and make it worse.
What can I do to help it heal?
How long will it take to heal?

I can't really tell from the picture, but as long as the eye itself isn't scratched, he should be ok. To me, this looks like "eye boogers" which are fairly common in cats. Like when your eye waters, only cats can't wipe the tears away so they form crusty dark spots. If it is indeed only a little scratch on the skin, it should heal up quickly.

Have you tried wiping at it with a warm soft dampened cloth? Obviously if it's a scab, don't pull it off, but if it's a dried up crusty "eye booger", you can wipe it away.

It’s definitely a scab there a tiny bit of blood at first and now its dried up blood/scab. His seems to be fine and he acting like his usual playful, self so doesn’t seem like he’s in pain or anything.
