I have 5 kittens at the moment, and all of them have pretty upset tummies. They've gone to the vet and been dewormed/checked over, but it hasn't helped much. I recently introduced them to a new food that will hopefully help. I rescued them from a farm where they were not fed very well, if at all, so the abrupt change in diet (I wasn't able to get some of their old food) has caused very upset tummies. A few do them are doing better, but I'm needing some ideas!
Right now they sleep on an old blanket of mine in the garage. I don't own a house, still live with my parents, and they're practically banished from the house. The garage is closed and no cars come and go so predators cannot come in and they are safe. My problem is they soil the blanket quite often. I'm not allowed to put it in the washer, so I'm wondering if there are any inexpensive bedding ideas I could use for them? I don't really want to use hay because I want too avoid irritating their eyes... I can't think of much else. Anybody have any ideas? Any input on what I could feed to help their upset stomachs?
