I’m not sure if thus looks normal or not? I’m worried about my boy.

Usually, after the surgery, the site will look a little raw and swollen as it is filled with blood. Just make sure that the incision is intact and a little bleeding is ok for the tine being. Also make sure that it does not keep bleeding and also keep the surgery area dry and clean. Use a damp warm towel to clan it after he uses the litter box.

Your boy will come around in a day or two after the anesthesia wear off. For the next few days, watch that the surgery site for bleeding, no pus or foul smell. If it does have any of this signs, please bring your boy back to the vet ASAP. In the meanwhile, you may want to send the vet an email with this photo attached and double check with them if it's ok.

The swell will subside in a week or two and it takes 6 - 8 weeks for the testosterones to be fully discharged from the system and fur will grow back naturally and after that, the surgical area will be soft to touch.

Just don't let your boy lick too much on the surgery site and no hard play or jumping. Feed him when he's hungry else he might vomit due to the anesthesia that is still hanging around.
