I burn incense occasionally but have traded it for diffusing essential oils, but I'm finding so much contradictory info about both and cats.
When I diffuse, it's cold water plus drops of oils (I use highest quality, natural, no synthetic..). Its bit burned, but turns into a fog or mist kind of. I would never go near my kitty with the oils but is it a problem if it's in the air?
Also, Maya is fascinated with incense. She gets right up in there. Stares at the smoke, puts her face right in it close to the stick. She does this with candles as well. If I don't shoo her away I fear she will stick her nose in the flame! (That's how close she gets)
I feel like if it bothered her she wouldn't do this...
