My 8 year old male indoor kitty has been marking around the house. We have checked him for physical issues. We have him on buspar. If i catch him before he sprays and say "no" he walks away. Later he will use the litter box or he will mark something . We have closed all blinds so he cant see outside, suspecting that outside cats are causing anxiety. We have cleaned and neutralized all spots, spraying feliway liberally. Added cat attract litter to all boxes. What else can be done? The busbar is only 10 days into regime.

Help! I

I can see from your other thread that you're pretty sure it's been caused by outside cats.  Hopefully blocking off his view will help.

It sounds like you know that if Buspar is going to work it will take a couple of weeks at least.

Rather than spraying Feliway, I'd be inclined to use the infusers as they are ongoing and permeate the atmosphere.  You may need a few, depending on the size of your house and where he hangs out.
