Hi my name is Karie and I took my cat to the vet and they said she has hyper active thyroude . the vet put her on meds and when she got retested the level was low. I noticed today that shes limping could it be that her thyrode is hurting her and she wont take soft food to give her meds to her I'm not sure what to do and I cant afford to take her back to the vet again what do I do???

The limping is probably not related to her thyroids. That being said, when they retested her were her levels lower than before? Or higher, but still lower than they should be?

I would call the vet's office and explain to them what is going on and ask them if you need to raise/lower her dose.  While you have them on the phone, you can talk to them about the limping and ask if it's a side effect of the medication and what you should do about that.
