So, my husband got his settlement check and handed me $1,000 for clothes shopping and for groceries. We both needed jean desperately because we are both down to about 2 pairs each that fit or are decent.
My first stop....Goodwill! I got: 4 pairs of jean for him (2 Levi's that look like they have never been worn), 4 pairs of jeans for me, 4 pairs of short for him, 2 sweatshirts, a spring jacket for him (in John Deer Green, which is where he works), a London Fog spring jacket for me which I don't think has ever been worn either because the tag is in perfect shape, a slicker for us for around the house, 3 pairs of lounge pants, a pair or pajamas for me, 4 serving/mixing bowls, a few plates and extra knives and a DVD of Pretty Woman...all for $124.18!
I was amazed!! The jeans were $6 each as well as the jackets. DH said I was the only women he knew that would go to Goodwill when she had $1,000 in her hands
! The good news is I still have plenty of money to go food shopping.
