I really am patient, and I tolerate so very much from my fuzzbutts.
BUT!!! Simon, for the last three days, has been fussing and fussing and fussing. He'll sit in a room and fuss at me. Then he'll move to another room, and fuss at me. And then he'll come back to my feet, and whine like a dog. Literally whimper/whine. He fusses at night, too, keeping me awake and worried.
He's getting a ton of affection. He's not sick (I've taken him to the vet...she just laughed..."he's fine. He's siamese. He's loud. He's fine...go home"). He's fed well, and he gets all the cuddles he could possibly want.
I've checked his paws, his bum, his teeth, his ears, his nose, his belly, his legs, his tail. I've stroked him, put him inside my bathrobe (a favorite place to sleep), in my lap. I've played with him, threw toys for him, rescued him from various different places (the hot stove, the toilet, the other cats.). I've even checked the other cats, too, thinking he was being a shepherd or a snitch. Nada.
I can't figure out what's wrong...and since he's healthy, I think he's just in a bad mood. Like a two year old bad mood. He's 8ish months, and he's in a growth spurt...could it be growing pains? I just don't know.
Help....if there is any, please help. Or I'll get some earplugs.
Sigh...I really am patient. But it's wearing thin today.
Best-
Michele
