Hi Everyone,
I am new here. I am thinking about breeding Persians/Himalayans. This is something I have been considering/wanted to do since I was a little girl actually. I've always been a huge cat lover and have had cats since I was a newborn.
Heres a little bit of my cat history:
We've always had cats, whether they were strays/adopted/drop offs, as I lived at a farm and drop offs were quite frequent, which was a total shame, but those kitties got good homes with us. We've had several litters of kittens as well.
I never had a purebred cat, and I've always been interested in/had a love for the Persian/Himalayan breed, and finally, 2 years ago I got my first Blue Point Himalayan from a breeder, a neutered male named Chaz! He is beautiful and an awesome cat! I haven't been able to stop thinking about breeding since then. I am absolutely in love with this this breed and want to show cats eventually.
I was never sure how to break into breeding and had/have a lot of questions and would never consider even trying to go into it blindly - so I have started ordering books - I received one of five today actually and am really, really excited to get started...then I found this site and I'm excited to get to know everyone!
Thanks for having me! I'm looking forward to chatting with everyone!
