Two days ago, my husband and I were outside talking to his nephew and we heard this pitiful sound. It sounded like a very hoarse cat and after looking around that's what it turned out to be. I felt sorry for her and got her some milk and my son latched onto her.
Yesterday, my husband gave me permission to get her some food. He said my son could keep her only if we keep her outside.
I know nothing about cats. My husband says she's no more than 12 weeks old, I don't know. I got her some moist cat food, but after doing a little bit of reading I think I may need to get her some dry kitten food.
I'm concerned about keeping her outside. There are tom cats that run loose out here not to mention other critters. It was a miracle that my husband agreed to let us keep her outside and don't want to push him.
She is a cool kitty. She follows my son around like a puppy does. I've never seen a cat do that and she act like she wants us to pick her up alot. I hope that's what she is wanting because that is what we are doing. She just seems to want alot of loving right now. Will that change?
Anything anyone can tell me on how to take care of her would be greatly appreciated. How much should I feed her, does she need milk, etc. And what about bathing? I didn't think you were suppose to bathe them, but I was told that you were.
Anyway thanks for the help.
