I was never permitted to have a cat as a child and when I got married, I picked out my very first one from a newspaper ad. My husband was going to a meeting and I warned him that when he got home, I might have been successful in finding a cat via the newspaper. Lo and behold, I WAS successful and became the proud mother of my first feline. Spooky was all black except for a bit of white on her neck. It was the beginning of a life-long love and fascination with cats. Since that time, I have been fortunate enough to raise and keep different cats for 17, 18 and 19 years.
My current children are only 2 and 3 years old and we share a wonderful life in Las Vegas.
I am anxious to become a very frequent visitor to this forum and will expect to learn a lot as well as share some wonderful stories.
See you around the 'hood!
