Has the new kitten been vetted yet for fleas and worms? How old is the kitten?

You'll want to let the bigger cats smell the kitten and check him out for a few minutes at a time initially. Often cats will accept a kitten more quickly than another adult cat. The important thing is to supervise them with the kitten until you are certain there are no issues and the kitten is safe. In the long run the kitten will benefit from socializing with the others.

You'll need to continue treating the cat's infected eye. Do you still have eye ointment?

If your cats are not consistently using the litter box, you'll want to make sure you have several boxes placed in easy to reach spots, ample litter in the boxes, and that the boxes are cleaned daily. You can put the cats in the boxes several times a day to encourage them to use them, and place any poop from the floor into the box so they smell it.

Most importantly, you'll need to clean every area where they have gone inappropriately with an enzyme cleaner to get rid of the smells. Cats tend to return to places they have "marked".

You can also confine them to one room for a few days with their food, water, and litter to make sure they are using the box.

As for food, cats are curious, and hungry cats even more so. What and how much and how often are you feeding them? They need several wet meals a day the first year, along with access to dry food 24/7.

Any number of things can cause a cat to vomit, including over-eating, food allergies, and parasites. How long has the cat been sick?

Seeing the vet for the eye and the vomiting is a good idea. Does the rescue you work with not help with vet bills?
