Last night my partner and I went to our first Cats Protection meeting to see about becoming foster parents. Well it looks like we've been accepted as they're going to start getting equipment together for us to foster kittens and we should hear from them next week I think. I didn't realise there were so few volunteers in my area, yet there are so many cats being given up or that are feral.
I reckon I'm going to get kittens that need socialising because I'm at home a lot due to my illness and so have the time to be scratched to death.
Also, my almost 3 year old cat hasn't been vaccinated recently because he's an indoor cat although he had a check up at the vets. Shall I get his injections sorted if I'm going to be bringing little terrors into the house? Jupiter isn't due for his until September so he should be ok although I'd better stock up on Frontline.
Any fostering advice is welcome!!!!
